The Paulsboro Police Department is dedicated to providing professional services in the areas of Police Patrol, Investigations and Crime Prevention in its continuing efforts to protect and serve the Citizens of Paulsboro.

Police Operations begin with the Patrol Division.  This group of men and women are the most visible component of any police department. They are the ones who respond to every call for service received by Gloucester County Communications. The Patrol Division is often referred to as “the backbone of any police organization”.

Along with 24/7 patrol coverage, Police Operations include sworn officers who are assigned to specialized units such as the Criminal Investigations and Housing Units. Additionally, sworn officers will be assigned to perform specialized details to include community policing, crime prevention, DARE and bicycle patrols. The Paulsboro Police Department is committed to quality policing while maintaining public confidence.

Civilian employees within the Paulsboro Police Department work in areas such as the records department and school crossing guards.

You can find the Paulsboro Municipal Building, which houses the Police Department and Municipal Court Offices, at 1211 North Delaware Street, Paulsboro New Jersey 08066. For more information, please call 856-423-1101 (non-emergency line) between the hours of 9am and 4pm Monday thru Friday.
